MET4 and MET5 test gauges are 0.5 accuracy gauges used to calibrate other industrial gauges or to check pressures on piping by means of a special cock or valve (not furnished with the gauges). Both models are approved by the official Inspection Offices and are in accordance with the French Standard E 15 024 dated July 1968. These gauges are supplied in a box including the following accessories : a threaded rod with clamp and leather gasket for model MET 4 (ø 80 mm) or a wing nut with differential thread and copper gaskets for MET 5 model (ø 100 mm). Putting into operation: The cock on which the test gauge is mounted must be shut before any measurement.
MET4: remove the screw of the test flange cock. Adapt the test gauge with its leather gasket by means of the clamp and tighten them together.
MET5: remove the plug of the valve. Set the wing nut half-way up the gauge threading. Screw in together until the connection comes in contact with the valve gasket. Set the gauge in its reading position and tighten up the wing nut. Open the valve slowly before each reading
