Model MMC and MCX capsule gauges are designed for low and negative pressure measurements. They are particularly convenient for measuring pressure on non-corrosive (MMC) and corrosive air (MCX) or gas circuits (under non-aggressive (MMC) and aggressive (MCX) service conditions). The sensing element is a capsule composed of 2 diaphragms with concentric undulations, welded on each other. A safety valve prevents permanent deformation of the capsule in case of sudden overpressure.
